How We Remove Hot Tubs

Step 1: Drain the Tub

Step 3: Dismantle the Tub

This is where the real work happens. In most cases, we can’t carry the hot tub out in one piece — it’s too big and too heavy. Instead, we break it down on-site:

• The wood or composite cabinet (the outer shell) comes off first.
• The acrylic or fiberglass shell gets cut into sections using reciprocating saws.
• The internal plumbing, jets, pumps, and heater are removed.
• The metal frame gets disassembled.

Breaking the tub into sections makes it manageable to carry out through gates, up stairs, or through narrow side yards.

Step 4: Load and Haul

All the pieces get loaded onto our trucks. We sort the materials — metal goes to scrap recycling, and the remaining components go to proper disposal. Nothing gets left behind.
